We attend a variety of markets across the ACT (Australia) where a seasonal selection of our scents and products are available to sample.

We have the perfect scent sample size that can be purchased. Head on over to our Soy Candle Tins and simply select the options you wish to try (as a bonus, they’ll last for 8+ hours!)

If you’re looking for a sample of our Bath Soaks, we recommend ordering a 300g size bag.

We realise that scent can be a very personal choice and aside from recommending one of our popular products we are happy to offer Gift Cards that can be used online or if visiting us at the markets.

Simple, head on over to our Wholesale page to find out more. We use TradeSquare as our Wholesale marketplace to make things easier for all parties involved.

We’re happy to consider working with you on a specific branded scent/product (it just depends what else we have going on). Reach out to us via the Contact Us page with some details and we’ll go from there.

Typically orders will be processed within 2-3 business days. You may see us at markets on weekends; however, we don’t count these as ‘business days’.

If we are taking a short break, we’ll include a message on the site so you know before placing your order.

For Australian orders we have had to introduce a small shipping cost if your order is below $80 – so if you spend $80+ you’ll have the option for Free Shipping.

If you are based in the ACT you can select ‘Local Pickup at Markets’ but please note you will need to wait for us to confirm you order is ready for pickup (we’ll be in touch shortly after you place an order).

Simply type your specific scent into the search and products that have the scent will display (for example, if you searched for Eucalyptus you will see our popular Aussie Bush candle appear).

Safety & Standards

We use fragrance oils, which can consist of natural ingredients (essential) and/or synthetic ingredients. Using the mix blends better with the wax, helping to throw the fragrance further and more consistently, and also provides a more stable wax.

The wicks that we use are cotton wicks, which are free from heavy metals such as lead. They are made from all-natural, cotton fibres; however, some will also include additional fibres (for example paper fibres) or treatments to help produce different attributes (for example rigidity of the material). The wicks we use have a softer burn, which is good for our natural soy wax, and do curl slightly as they burn.

The fragrances we use are made to International Fragrance Research Association (IFRA) standards (so they are safe) and are phthalate free. They also don’t contain any ingredients that are animal derived (just like our wax!)

Payment & Gift Card

Yes! We know how easy it can be to go through relaxation items (it’s why we started At Our House) and so we are pleased to offer a variety of payment methods including:

Simple – head on over to Gift Card Balance Check page and type in your Gift Card number to check the balance.

Please note, if you have a physical gift card, the actual balance may take a day to update if you have made a purchase at one of our market events.

We recognise the anxiety that online shopping can cause and we continue to use Square as our payment provider for Credit Cards not just online but also at markets.

We also offer PayPal if you wish to use that option.

We don’t hold any payment information on our website (other than Gift Cards).
